One of the most powerful and distinctive voices in rock 'n' roll

Hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time

Features a collection of 12 songs, most of which were written by Eric. The album is a deeply unsparing look, through his eyes, at religion, politics and the environment.

Eric Burdon has completed his most personal album to date, titled 'Til Your River Runs Dry. One of the founders of the Animals, and later frontman for the band War, he's been named one of Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Singers and was named to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. Burdon will forever be linked with the smash hit "The House of the Rising Sun," and although it displays Eric's marvelous singing talents, he determined long ago that it'd never become his ball and chain. It only bothers him that he's expected to sing it night after night in the same way. But the musical philosophy he grew up with, imparted to him by blues singer Jimmy Witherspoon, was to never sing the same song twice.

His new album features original tracks written by Burdon including "Water," "Bo Diddley Special," "The River Is Rising," "Wait" and "Memorial Day" — with a blues-rooted feel that has made him one of the most enduring artists spawned by the British Invasion of the 1960s. 'Til Your River Runs Dry was produced by Burdon and Tony Barnacle and recorded in New Orleans and Southern California where Eric recorded his last two albums. 'Til Your River Runs Dry is the long awaited return of one of rock's most creative, incisive songwriters and, certainly, an unparalleled vocal force.
